Background & Experience
Veronica is a graduate of Ursinus College, holding a B.A. in Economics with a concentration in accounting. She has more than 25 years of experience in public accounting primarily focusing on closely held businesses and not for profits. Veronica began her career at a small regional firm in New York, later transitioning to several medium-sized local firms in Atlanta where she held the roles of both Tax Manager and Audit Manager. Veronica spent 7 years as a partner at EBSTK until splitting off in 2006 and forming Holbrook Hicks and Associates in 2010 where she resided until the firm merged with PKM in 2015.
Veronica’s experience in closely held businesses and not for profits has enabled her to develop solid skills and expertise specifically in the areas of insurance, healthcare, manufacturing and construction. Her diversified background in audit and tax, as well as her ability to relate to her clients has served her well, affording her the skills necessary to serve as a true business advisor and “go-to” problem solver for her clients. She spends as much time as necessary with each of her clients to navigate regulations, develop new strategies, minimize tax liability and expand business opportunities.
