Robert Schwarzmann, CPA

Tax Partner

Rob has over 12 years of experience in public tax accounting.  His focus is on providing tax services to insurance companies, the technology industry, and community banks.  Rob also has extensive experience in providing tax services to both foreign and domestic captive insurance companies. Tax services include federal and state tax return compliance, corporate and partnership tax planning, and accounting for income taxes under both FAS109, FIN48 and SSAP10 (statutory principles). 

Rob joined the firm in 2004, after spending eight years with an international accounting firm, including two years in their National Joint Venture and Pass-through Services group.  As a member of this group, he served as a national resource for partnership and S corporation technical issues.  Before practicing in the national office, Rob focused exclusively on corporate taxation of public and private entities and has in-depth experience calculating tax basis and earnings and profits for consolidated corporate entities.
