Adam Polakov, CPA

Tax Senior Manager

Adam has over 13 years of experience working in public tax accounting. His focus has been on serving multi-state financial institutions with significant mortgage lending operations and closely-held businesses in the real estate and construction industry. Specific tax services that Adam deals with consist of accounting for income taxes under ASC 740 to both publicly-traded and privately-held financial institutions including the preparation and/or review of income tax provisions and footnotes, evaluation of uncertain tax positions under FIN 48, and federal and state tax return compliance. Prior to joining PKM in 2004, Adam spent six years with a “Big Four” accounting firm providing federal and state consulting and compliance services to C corporations, S Corporations, REITS, and partnerships.

Adam is an active participant in USTA and ALTA. He also enjoys hiking, tennis, and golf as well as running 10-k's and half marathons.
