Background & Experience

Terry Ammons began his career in public accounting in 1986 and specializes in auditing and consulting for financial institutions, financial services companies, manufacturing, distribution companies and contractors. In addition to traditional accounting and auditing, Terry heads the firm’s Information Technology Assurance Group. For the past seven years he has focused on providing clients with information technology assurance services including SAS 70 reports for third-party service providers, information technology reviews for banks and insurance companies, and network vulnerability assessments for a myriad of corporate networks. He is an instructor for several educational programs to Georgia’s community bankers and is a teacher and speaker for various organizations on Information Technology topics. Terry was featured in Accounting Technology magazine for his work in information technology assurance and internal control expertise. He was also featured in an article in Protiviti’s The Bulletin for his expertise with SAS 70 Reports and Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 compliance.

Hobbies & Interests

Terry enjoys activities with his family, especially coaching his daughters' soccer teams and visiting amusement parks. He enjoys all types of music, reading and long distance jogging.
