Mary Beth Marchione Joins the Board for Atlanta Association of Information Technology Professionals

ATLANTA, March 29, 2018 – Porter Keadle Moore announced today that Systems Senior Manager Mary Beth Marchione, CPA, CISA, CISSP, has been named a board member of the Atlanta Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP). PKM is an accounting and advisory firm that serves public and private financial institutions, insurers, technology companies and entrepreneurial small businesses.

Founded in the 1950s, the AITP is the leading association for technology professionals, students and educators looking to shape the IT industry through collaboration and the sharing of ideas. Marchione, as an Atlanta chapter board member, will work with the next generation of IT innovators through the group’s Student Chapters and support the local chapter’s efforts to attract and enrich young professionals through industry networking and educational events.

Since joining PKM in 2012, Marchione has served some of the firm’s largest financial clients as an outsourced IT auditor and security consultant. She has worked with large SEC registrants, providing both assurance and consulting services including SOC reports and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance in a wide range of complex information technology environments. Prior to joining PKM, Marchione worked at The Bank of New York Mellon, as an accounting analyst prior to her work as a risk and compliance specialist, working with Embedded Controls.
