Juggling Life

When I left PKM 14 years ago to be a stay-at-home mom of my (then) two small children little did I know that working for the firm would again be in my future. However, when my son turned three and my daughter was 6 I received a phone call and was asked if I would like to come back to work. Of course I did! PKM is a great place to work! But at the time I was unsure about juggling mommy-hood, on-line classes, and a job. Another thing I had to consider was a 48 mile commute into Atlanta. With two smaller children and a husband that travels a lot I wasn’t sure how I would be able to make it all work.

Fortunately, PKM offered me the opportunity to work mainly from home and I was thrilled!

Everything at PKM is set up electronically via the internet, which allows easy telecommuting from my home. PKM has the most current technology, which allows for excellent client service (first and foremost) but also allows for easy communication with each other making it seem like I’m working right there beside everyone. This flexible arrangement doesn’t just stop with me. There are quite a few other PKMers who have flexible working arrangements so that they can achieve their own perfect work / life balance.

Whoever said we couldn’t have our cake and eat it too obviously hadn’t worked here.
