Traditions run deep at PKM. Some of our traditions are obvious, others subtle. Some are rightfully given a great deal of attention, others quietly celebrated and honored. But they’re all equally important and all contribute to the fabric of PKM. And they all contribute in their own special way to the accretive value of your PKM experience.

Tradition is a way of thinking, behaving, or doing something that has been used by the people in a particular group, family or society. In the PKM family, you’re afforded the opportunity to embrace our traditions and contribute your ideas to help enhance those traditions to benefit the future PKM. We have employee committees that schedule and produce many of our major events throughout the year, such as our annual Holiday party and firm-wide outings, events that accentuate our traditions. We really are an employee-centric firm.

As PKM changes and grows and adds new and different services, ensuring those existing traditions endure is imperative to maintaining the firm’s underlying culture. But it also calls for forward-looking traditions to be developed that will meld new areas with the old. And PKM does just that. Our various service groups routinely interact with one another so that all corners of the firm have a feel for things that are happening throughout the firm. Forward-looking traditions are really in PKM’s DNA.

As your career progresses, you’ll come to realize that traditions form the thread that binds all the pieces of your life together. At PKM, you’ll find spools of thread in the form of traditions that you can look back on and appreciate that you were an integral contributor to experiencing and enhancing. And you will relish that you had the opportunity to experience this.
