S Corporation Banks

PKM tax professionals have extensive experience working with S Corporation banks, from assisting with the conversion process to developing long-term tax planning strategies.

Janet Sammons, has over 30 years experience in taxation, in the public sector, as a field agent and tax auditor for the Kentucky Revenue Cabinet, and in the private sector as a tax professional for two super-regional banks and as Director of Bank Tax Services for PKM. She is an expert in bank tax accounting and compliance and has assisted several banks in their successful conversion to Sub Chapter S status.

PKM Tax Manager Rob Schwarzmann spent eight years with a Big Four accounting firm, including two years in their National Joint Venture and Passthrough Services group. As a member of this group, he served as a national resource for partnership and S Corporation technical issues. In addition, PKM Tax Partner Pat Tuley worked with a number of community banks in the area of S Corporation election, planning and compliance in his 17 years with a big four firm before joining PKM.
