Affiliations

Independent accounting firms often have as many, and possibly even more, resources at hand than their larger firm counterparts, thanks to professional and industry-related networks. Our association with several independent accounting firm networks, including PKF North America and PKF International, extends our geographical reach, professional expertise and capabilities when needed. Frequently, we partner with other member firms on assignments, with one firm often meeting the geographical criteria "on the ground" and the other firm lending additional bench strength to the account. PKM is not only a member of these professional networks, but also a leader – with many of our partners and managers maintaining key leadership positions within these organizations. Within the industries we serve, we are also actively involved with trade groups and industry associations through which we educate members on audit, tax and systems related topics. We are highly visible at meetings and conventions, legislative receptions, and leadership counsel seminars and we sponsors events including golf outings, receptions, Political Action Committees and Public Relations Funds.
